On the Daytona's 50th Birthday, Rolex released a new version. This watch is mad of 18k Everose gold and carries a ivory or chocolate brown dial.

A new collection of Rolex Daytona watches has been launched in the hottest metal, 18K Everose gold. The Everose case is complimented by an ivory or chocolate brown dial and Monobloc Cerechrom bezel to update this classic style.  This bezel is constructed from ceramic and is in keeping with trends.   Rose gold is all the rage right now and this watch is warm and rich paired with a chocolate brown bezel and leather strap.  It is a beautifully executed, and features automatic chronograph movement that has luminosity on the hands as well as the indices.  The bezel is clearly marked with white numbers for easy reading on both models.

The black bezel option has a retro feel to it and is in keeping with the look of the original Daytona design aesthetics.  It is updated with pink gold numerals that are applied using a technique called magnetron cathode sputtering.  It has a 40mm wide case in 18K Rolex Everose pink gold and comes on a black alligator strap.  There will be a two-tone version called the Relosor and steel models releases at a later date.   There is an option of either Arabic numerals or baton style hour markers for the different dial color options.  The hands are done in matching pink gold with a red chronograph seconds hands.
